    Hey, I am currently using your plugin, and it’s pretty nice! Nevertheless, I am trying to set the phone number field as optional and billing address same as shipping address by default, but even well configured that does not work on front end. Even after clearing cache.

    Can you help me ?

    Hi @grul,

    There are two caveats in relation to those fields and options:

    1. The billing address defaults to “same as shipping address” only for guest customers. The plugin used to allow the billing address to default to the same as shipping but that lead to so many issues that we had to set this default only for guest customers.

    2. If the billing phone is required, the shipping phone field will be set as required on the checkout page even when set as optional in the plugin settings. This behavior is necessary for allowing to correctly copy the shipping address to the billing address.

    In order to make the shipping phone optional, you’ll need to make the billing phone optional. Another option would be to move the billing phone to the be displayed in the “Contact step”.
