    Hello,

I just upgraded to WP5.5, I also use cartflows + Kadence theme.

I realized under settings–>reading, the original option of setting a static post as the home page is gone. The setting is there under WP 5.4

Instead of creating a post under WP and set as a home page, I usually created a page under cartflows and use that as home page.

I also couldn’t find any settings of this under Kadence customizer.

    Please help. Thanks!!

I wasn’t able to find the Kadence theme in the repository so it must be a commercial theme or an outside collection… I’d like you to contact the theme author about this issue.

You might try using a generic theme like Twenty Seventeen to effect the changes you want if that will work for you that way and then swap your chosen theme back in.

Let us know what you find out or if you need more help.

After reinstalling the WP 5.5 the options comes back….

Anyways I think it’s solved now.

That’s interesting but I was thinking it was a conflict between your theme or a plugin and 5.5’s changes as there were a few changes that was causing similar problems in a few older themes and plugins.

Let us know if you need anything else.
