    Hello!

I use the plugin “Responsive Lightbox & Gallery” (RLG) on my website. Until recently, in the tab where you create a new gallery in RLG, there was a RankMath field at the bottom with several options, including a “no-index” checkbox. This field with the options has recently disappeared (I assume as a result of an update to RankMath). Can you give me a hint on how to set an RLG gallery to no-index now?

    RankMath: Version 1.0.204
    Responsive Lightbox & GalleryVersion: 2.4.5
    WP-Theme Twenty Twenty-Two

Thank you in advance for your support ??

    Hello @wortpressender38,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We can’t seem to replicate this on our end.

Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages and make sure that the “SEO Controls” option is enabled.

If that option is already enabled, please try opting for our Beta version as we have addressed a similar issue like this and we fixed it with our beta. You may refer to our guide here: https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick feedback.

The “Gallery Robots-Meta” switch in Titles&Meta ? Galleries was disabled (but I never changed it since installation).
I enabled the switch, but the field with the options (no-index etc) still doesn’t appear in Galleries.
I have now set the general option gallery robots meta to no-index. The overview list now also shows the new gallery with no-index. This global setting sets all galleries to no-index, which is ok for me.

    Hello @wortpressender38,

If you want to manage the robots meta settings of individual gallery posts, you will have to enable the Add SEO Controls option in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Galleries to add the SEO Controls with the robots meta and other settings in the gallery editor.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
