option for display post attachments

Wondering how complicated it might be to add this option… including all attachments to a post.
We’re building a photo gallery community and I found the only front-end uploading option I could use that reliably worked is gravity forms with an advanced uploader to upload multiple files. That part works great, but getting them to display where we want is another issue.
If your plugin could be hacked to display all images attached to the posts that could save the day. Insanely complicated hack?
