On 25th of May 2018 the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force. GDPR will also impact websites and online businesses outside the EU as GDPR applies to any business globally that collects personal data on EU citizens.

This means that if you are collecting personal data like Name, Email, IP etc. on your website and your website is visited by EU citizens, the GDPR will hold your business accountable for what you do with that personal data regardless of where your business is based.

Because of this, it’s important to receive the approval to storage personal data, if someone add an event or booked a ticket.

Do plan to add such an Option? I think everybody not only in EU needs such approval.

Here you find the original legal documents: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679&from=DE

    Thanks for you help!
