Option for action when closing the full screen mode

Hi there, I like the design of the Full Screen Mode for Touch Screens, and the Auto open full screen mode when opening messages page.

But I think closing the Full Screen Mode creates some UX issues, as users are directed back to the conversation they just closed, just with another look ( the non Full Screen design).

It then requires another action from the user to return to the message directory (threads list), or where they want to go, when they hit the X button.

I don’t thin users understand this, because they close the message, to do another action on the page, not return to the same conversation they are leaving, just in another design.

Would it be possible to make an option to what should happen, when closing the full screen mode, just like the option for Auto open full screen mode when opening messages page?

Similarly the Threads list is also presented to the user in an full screen mode and when they close this, they are directed to the threads list in standard view mode, I don’t thin the user understand this, instead returning eg. to members profile would be more logic
