Option fields not showing in the checkout page

I have a product that has two required fields (Bisto Bowl). They show in the product page, but if you click to add to cart in the shop – the fields options is not asked, and the customer could make the order without prompting. The settings for the product are set using global settings, and the global setting is set to Before Add to Cart button. Option Display on Cart & Checkout is set to Yes.

What am I missing?
