• I have WP Super Cache up and running on our site since 6/7 months and I thank you the creator of this plugin to save so much server resources.

But… Since some days (don’t know exactly the date) when one of our authors publish a new article the cache is not cleared at all. Even if the option “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated” is enabled.
I activated the log but I don’t see any error (except for a thousand of PHP Notices from other plugins).

What could be the problem? This option has always worked fine until now… I don’t understand what can be the cause.

    Can you please help me?

  • 1. if you activated WPSC log, you probably only see WPSC output there. If you see notices from other plugins, you are probably looking at wrong log.
    2. Debug it. It may be for a lot of reasons. Files access rights, messed with wp actions/filters, bad config, data you provided is insufficient to say.

    Thanks Dima for the answer,
I solved by unchecking the ‘wp_cache_mutex_disabled’ option. Once I deactivate it WPSC start clearing cache regularly when a post is added, edited or deleted.
I haven’t understood what the problem is and why that option was checked but now everything works well again.

    Davide.
