• My optinmonster lightbox (pop-up) is being pushed to the bottom of the page for vistors and it is absolutely devastating my newsletter subscription rates.

    I cannot get help from optinmonster as I have tried repeatedly and they say they cannot replicate this issue. However, by the optin rate %’s it is quite evident that this issue is continuing for our readers. I am experiencing it as well. So are our readers as they have made comments towards this issue.

    I am getting 2 errors when I inspect element;

    “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘className’ of null
    https://api.optnmnstr.com/v1/optin/12877/240411 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 410 (Gone)”

    I have added these codes to be “excluded from script”
    “api.js.,api.min.js,api.min.js:1”

    But the issue continues.

    Any help on this would really be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    I’m also not this is AO’s doing really, but try adding this to your comma-seperated JS optimization exclusion list;

    om_loaded, optin-monster, OptinMonsterApp

    hope this helps,

    Thanks Frank, I truly appreciate your help although that hasn’t fixed the issue.

    I am thinking maybe it is something else that is pushing the script to the bottom of the page. I notice the issue is resolved using a chrome-incognito window.

    I am not advanced in IT so I am unsure of what this may mean.

    Thanks for the help.

    well, what you could try is simply disable JS optimizatoin in Autoptimize. If after that your optin % goes up, the problem indeed is with AO else something else is wrong.

    But the fact you don’t see the issue when in an incognito window, implies there is something else going on (there are different things being loaded on a wordpress page if you are in fact logged in).
