After giving OptinMonster a try I decided it wasn’t for me, so I deactivated the plugin. When I went back to Google Analytics to track my website, I am no longer getting data and I don’t know how to fix it. OptinMonster, please break your connection to my site so I can use Analytics again!!!

Hi there! I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your Google Analytics account after disconnecting OptinMonster. Deactivating OptinMonster should only stop our impressions and conversions from being passed through as events to Goole Analytics. We don’t have the ability or permission to entirely remove Google Analytics from your website. ??

When I view your site, I see you’re using Google Tag Manager, but I don’t see any Google Analytics tracking IDs. Here is the documentation from Google Analytics directly for how to add your tracking ID to your website: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en

Alternatively, if you’d rather not bother with adding the GA code to your site, you can use our sister product MonsterInsights to easily connect to Google Analytics and to display helpful reports from Google Analytics directly in your dashboard. You can learn more at https://monsterinsights.com.

Once you either add your Google Analytics tracking ID to your site, or begin using MonsterInsights, you should see your Google Analytics begin to populate again.
