So for my blog posts, I want to have the opt-in form appear at the end of the article. However, I get the opt-in form appearing two more times under the page for some reason when I choose the option to have the form appear at the end of the article.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m pretty lost right now. Not sure if it’s the theme I have or other plugins messing the placement up. The browser is chrome on a macOS Sierra on Bluehost server if that helps.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Since you’re using a commercial theme I’m unable to set it up on my own installation to test it out.

So I’ll need your help to test it out and figure out what needs to be done to fix it.

Can you please install this plugin ( it allows adding widgets after the post content, works similarly like our plugin when it comes to appending content ). Add any widget ( doesn’t matter which one ) and then check to see if it displays 3 times as well or only once.

Then just let me know the results, it will be enough to help me understand what needs to be done.

    Hello,

I did as you said and things are appearing 3 times here after the content.

So the same situation happens like with our plugin?

In that case it’s more of an issue how the theme handles things. Since it’s a commercial theme I’d suggest contacting the support for the theme and asking them about the issue.

Tell them that you are experiencing the same issue with both plugins ( tell them which ones ) and ask them if there’s anything they can do on their side to fix it.

One alternative is to disable the automatic adding of the form and manually add the shortcode at the end of the posts content.

I would also be willing to check it out directly, but for that I need access via FTP. Do not send that information here, it’s a public forum, but if you are willing to go that route you can send over a message via https://docs.meridianthemes.net/, you’ll see “Contact” in the top right corner, click that and the contact form will show up.

Thank you. I’ve been waiting for support to get back to me for over a week, so I figured it best to ask here.

How can I disable the automatic adding? I see the shortcode.

Thanks so much. I might take you up on the offer.

Over a week for commercial theme support? That’s a lot, usually with commercial themes it’s up to 24 hours on weekdays.

To disable automatic adding head over to WP admin > Optin Forms. At the top you’ll see tabbed navigation, click on “Form”, then at the bottom click “Form Placement” and options will show up, set it to “Don’t display…” for both options.

You can then add the shortcode [optinform] wherever you want the form to display.

Yeah, it’s surprising because they normally get back to me within 24 hours.

Thanks a bunch, everything is working like a charm :). I was going to be sad if I couldn’t use this form because I like it most out of the ones I’ve tried out.

    Thanks so much.
