Optimole searching for images in the wrong place

    On our server, we set the UPLOADS path to “files”. All images are uploaded there correctly and whenever I view the pages with Optimole deactivated everything is fine and images are served from the /files/ path.

    But once Optimole is activated it seems to search for the images in the standard /wp-content/uploads/ path which obviously does not make sense at all.

    I tried clearing every cache, regenerating files in Elementor, and even de- and re-installing the Optimole plugin. The only thing that helps is deactivating the plugin.
    So, is this the only solution and Optimole is useless for us?

    This is weird as we don’t enforce a path we use the content_url() to determine paths to the resources.
    What is the value for WP_CONTENT_URL constant inside your config?
