Optimole is not optimizing png files on my site. All of the images on my homepage, excluding the footer image, were png files and were not being optimized. I converted the hero image to jpg and then Optimole optimized it to avif. The remaining images were still being served from Optimole as png files. The footer image was a jpg file to start and Optimole served it correctly as a webp file. How can I get Optimole to optimize the png files without having to convert them to jpg?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @milob3,

We are using an intelligent format selection that selects the best format with no loss in quality, keeping the smallest size possible. We call it best format; details here Automatic Best Image Format Selection

You can turn that off from the Compression settings page, and all the images will be served on WebP/Avif.

    I hope this helps.
