    Hello!

I updated the plugin to the current version, indicated my GA4 code and when checking the Tag Assistant Legacy (by Google) plugin, I see that I (at the moment) are loading 4 codes: 2 GA4 and 2 GA (3rd version).
It immediately comes to mind that you can remove the obsolete code of the previous GA version from the settings and transfer data only to GA4. Will it work correctly?
And another question: why are there 4 tags now, and not 2?

    P. S.
For clarity, you can see the tags on the site:

    Hi @kronos1705,

Yes, with MonsterInsights you can just track into a GA4 property if you’d like, or continue tracking into a UA property. Our recommendation is to track into both property types using our Dual Tracking feature.

From what I can see at a glance on your website, MonsterInsights is dual tracking into a UA and GA4 property, but there are some extra tracking codes being inserted by something other than MonstesrInsights. In short, there shouldn’t be 4 tags.

If you haven’t resolved this yet, our support team will be happy to help investigate this with you to remove the extra tracking snippets. Would you be able to reach out to us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the answer.

I myself do not understand what could be the cause of the duplication; I use only your plugin to host the Google Analytics tracking code, and duplicate both on the most current version of your plugin, there on earlier ones, where there is no full support for GA4 yet. (see here: https://blog.andrewbondar.ru/)

I turned to the address you indicated, I hope they will help to understand the situation.

    I will add:
Deactivated plugin – all Google Analytics tracking codes are not loaded. It turns out that somehow he is not so configured for me, or does not work that way, or something like that … I will wait for help from your colleagues. ??
