Optimizing the firewall
-
I just wanted to run these basics past you to hopefully ensure that what WF is thinking for the firewall optimization (Litespeed/Isapi) is correct (it would seem to be) and that it’s just going to modify .htaccess in this case.
The only file that it prompts to backup is .htaccess (I have not actually attempted going past that point yet).
Cpanel (68.0.29)-hosted WP. Single site/hosting account. It’s not SiteGround but could be a “similar host” to it for all I know (in reference to your KB article about this).
WF: 7.1.0 (1519855237)
PHP 7.1.14
PHP Selector in cPanel: auto_prepend_file set to null (“”) for PHP 7.1
Server API field in “Other tests”: LiteSpeed V6.11If all it’s going to do in our case is modify .htaccess (given that it’s the only one backed up), then it would be easy enough to revert should things go south.
Thanks
