We are currently managing our dashboard with 999 orders, and it’s critical for us because we handle approximately 500-600 new orders daily. It’s essential to have smooth access to a large number of these orders. However, we’re experiencing backend performance degradation, which is impacting our operations.

To monitor our system performance, we are using the New Relic agent/API, and we’ve noticed a significant number of connections to the MySQL server.

Is there any possibility of optimizing the MySQL database on our server?

Our infrastructure includes a dedicated/co-located HPE G10 server equipped with 256 GB of RAM, dual Intel Xeon CPUs, and HPE NVMe2 SSDs configured in RAID 0/1 for performance and redundancy.

    Thank you.

    Hello raha1988ab,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

Thank you for the detailed information about your situation. Managing such a large volume of daily orders can put pressure on the backend, and it’s great to hear that you’re already monitoring performance with New Relic.

If you can provide specific data or slow queries that New Relic has flagged, along with relevant screenshots, I’d be happy to take a closer look and offer more targeted advice.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi there!

I’d be happy to guide you through finding the relevant information in New Relic. Here is the article to guide you on how to check the health issue and potential error.

Alternatively I would suggest you contact the New Relic support and asked them to help you to find specific data or slow queries that New Relic has flagged, along with relevant screenshots.

    Thank you
