‘Optimize > Resize’ vs manually resizing pre-upload

    Hi.
    Is it correct to assume that there is no speed gain in load time when reducing image dimensions prior to upload vs enabling optimize>resize?

    Hi @ceol!

    Our ‘Resize’ code uses PHP to resize images, which is quite good, but image editor programs, like Photoshop or GIMP can create same quality images in slightly lower filesizes. The difference probably won’t be that big, so using our option could be more convenient with almost no difference.
