    Hi,
my site is extremely slow. https://www.die-fotobox.de
I would like to optimize the performance. Hence I’ve installed P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler). P3 found out that NextGen Gallery and EWWW image optimizer takes too much time to load. Here’s the thing … I don’t need them on most of my pages. Only in the gallery. Is there a chance to disable these plugins on all other pages?

    Thanks!

A plugin is active globally meaning you can not (or should not) deactivate it foe pages you are not using it. Thsi is not have they work.

NextGen gallery is known for causing slow load times when using the pro version. The plugin blocks loading until it has contacted its home sever over HTTP. One of the biggest reasons is just using a slow server.

I see your site is image heavy. It looks like a plugin using “addThis” is making a lot of external calls. One main reason I see is that your site is loading 1MB+ is data. Thats a lot.

I would look at more traditional ways to optimize your site outside of relay solely on a performance plugin. Following best practices is a good place to start.
