Optimize other image sizes

    Hi,

    Your plugin makes a great job optimizing the original image. However, I have noticed it doesn’t optimize the other sizes generated by wordpress when uploading new image.

    For example, the original image wich is 1100x619px has been reduced from 92kb to 70kb, but the other images generated by wordpress (default image sizes and theme sizes for featured image) have not been optimized.

    For example, the generated large size for the same image (test-image-1024×576.jpg) has a size of 278kb.

    Is there a way or an option to optimize all image sizes?

    EWWW automatically optimizes ALL resizes unless you tell it not to on the Advanced settings. You can verify this by going to the Bulk Optimize page and clicking the Show Optimized Images button.

    You are right. I tried the bulk optimize page, and all images were optimized, the original image and the resized images.

    The problem is related with wordpress resizing, not with your plugin. I don′t know why some wordpress resized images have bigger file size than the original image (although the resized image is smaller than the original one). I notice this on some images, it doesn’t happen with all images.
