Hey guys, I’m really liking the plugin so far.

Is there a way to optimize and or compress the images Top 10 uses once they’re created?

I notice the plugin uses the same images every time so they must be stored somewhere. I looked (via ftp) at the image path and it looks like they’re somehow stored in /wp-content/plugins/top-10/timthumb/timthumb.php… but I don’t know how that works.

When do speed tests, these images are shown to be slowing my site. Is there a way we can compress/optimize them?

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

timthumb saves the images in the cache folder. However, these aren’t saved as an image but rather as a name known only to timthumb.

I’m not sure if you can “edit” these images that are saved in the cache folder.
