• Hi there

I’m not sure what is going on here but my GA cookies get blocked even if I check that they are allowed. Does Opting out actually block/enable the listed cookies?

Also is there an option to not have to list every single cookie?

And lastly, GDPR compliance states that no cookies should be collected BEFORE they accept. Is this something that may be implemented?

    Thanks!

  • There is no opt-out yet, my friend.

I’ve read this in a number of places too but it’s not about having no cookies set on page load, it’s about having no cookies set WITH personally identifiable information.

For example this plugin sets two necessary cookies, both of which are GDPR compliant.

    Hi there,

Okay that makes sense but I am confused. By toggling the switches on and off, is this not ‘opting out’ for particular categories of cookies? It doesn’t appear to have any effect. For example, if I toggles off ‘tracking cookies’ it appears to collect them anyway.

    Thanks again

Did you follow the instructions on how to effectively block/enable cookies using our helper functions?
