opt-in message in greetings text

    Good afternoon,

    I use WP Chatbot in Germany and have to use an opt-in message in the greetings window. The user have to accept, that his/her data will be send to Facebook before he/she can use the chat. Is there a possibility to integrate this function? I’ve tried to input the opt-in message into the greetings text. But it seems to be limited by the characters.

    Awesome,

    In most case, your user may know that, they are using Facebook Messenger, and When using Messenger they may know that the chat server will be handled by Facebook

    your user are chatting with the facebook / messenger logged in account.

    If still you are planning to notify your user, you can notify by sending the first message – by using facebook auto reply or using chat bot

    ( We don’t have clear idea, how the policy’s in Germany )

    The policy in Germany is getting worse by the end of may. There will be new regulation DSGVO. But this is also now very strict. The user has to be informed, that if he/she uses the chat, he/she gives her personal data to facebook. This has to appear before the user klick on “Chat now”. I should also show a link to the data protection declaration there.

    I already tought about the first message, where I could inform the user. But this massage appears after the user logged in.

    Have to consider it.

    Is it possible just to enlarge the area with greatings by css?

    My best suggestion to contact Facebook, regarding this issue, because they may know how to handle this situation
