    Hey Adam,
    this plugin works very good.
I know there is a double opt-in option however instead of flooding users with too many emails at once, I was wondering if it wouldn’t be a better solution to show a checkbox on the checkout where the customer can choose to subscribe or not. Subscribing them automatically is not generally a good practice.

There is an option in the plugin settings “Display an Opt-In Field on Checkout” that specifically enables this.

If enabled, customers will be presented with a “Opt-in” checkbox during checkout and will only be added to the list above if they opt-in. So, you have the option of quietly and automatically subscribing them or giving them a choice with an opt-in checkbox displayed on the checkout page.

    Hope that answers your question.

I saw it now..However the setting “Checked status” doesn’t seem to work in front-end. Besides that this plugin is very high quality.
