    The volunteer opportunities are now showing up when i use the block on the block editor. It says ‘Sorry, there are no volunteer opportunities available right now.’ even though there are 2 current set up.

    Hi @thomasthorne, I’m happy to help. This issue usually comes up for one of two reasons:

    1. If the dates for the volunteer opportunities are set in the past, they won’t show up in the list. Once the start time of an opportunity has passed, it’s hidden automatically.
    2. It’s possible the two opportunities are set up as “flexible” with no fixed date and time, but the Volunteer Opportunities block is set show “One-Time Opportunities”, or vice versa. You may need to switch the Volunteer Opportunities block to show a different type of opportunity.

    @jg-visual Thanks for getting back to me it was really helpful and I now understand what the issue is.

    Is there anyway to bypass the fact that the Volunteer Opportunity disappears after the start day? We want them to show the entire time until the close date but as far as I can tell there’s no way to do this.

    Unfortunately not. It’s set up this way to avoid a situation where volunteers sign up after an opportunity is already underway. In most cases that would be problematic for the person managing the opportunity.

    One potential option is to create unique volunteer opportunities for different shifts. That way once a shift has already begun, it won’t impact the others. I’m not sure if that will work in your situation, but I wanted to mention it.
