  • Hi,

I believe the statistics are reporting the following:

    • open – number of subscribers that opened (~ read) your newsletter
    • click – number of subscribers that clicked on link in your newsletter

    Cheers,

just not, and that’s the question I ask because I do not see any results
    (jetpack and piwik)

    tks

You mean both “open” and “click” statistics show only zeros?

Have you tried to send newsletter to your email address, open it and click on a link (and unsubscribe)?

Btw. I usually have to click on the stats link for the stats to be updated in the list view. I guess, it’s some caching issue in the plugin, maybe you are experiencing it as well.

Also note that the “open” stats are not 100% precise (simply because it is impossible to accurately determine when someone opens/reads an email in general case). For example, if someone configured his/her email client to block downloading of external resources (images), he/she will not show up in the stats.

    hello,
    I’ll say it differently:
I have cliks percentages and others open.
clicks percentages nowhere end up in my statistics, no one appears in my stats clicking.
in the percentages of opening: I can only trust myself.

Obviously I get receved by mail to unsuscribe : no problem.

I repeat: the clicks are unknown in my statistics.

@penseelibre you won’t be able to see these statistics in JetPack or Piwik, that’s only for MailPoet’s Newsletters page.

We add a hidden image to every email, this way we know when one of your subscribers opened the newsletter. If they click any link inside your newsletters, we also register a “click”.

    Does that make sense now?
