    Hi team,

I have seen that OpenRouter has published this message today for the Free models:

This means if you did not add the :free suffix to your model ID, your request will now be charged.

However, I have select the “OpenChat 3.5 (free)” model but it seems to be not free.

Is this something to be fixed on OpenRouter new free models internally?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @iokinpardo! ??

AI Engine strictly takes parameters for requests from OpenRouter and sends them as is. When using a free model like OpenChat 3.5 (free), it’s because the reference is already set to openchat/openchat-7b:free from fetching the models list.

It’s possible that the token prices are null, but the API service may have a cost, which would be on the OpenRouter side. AI Engine itself is completely free to use and doesn’t add transaction fees in any way.

    Hope this helps! ??
