Opening soon message not showing

  • We set an opening soon message from 45mins. But it does not show. Neither does the shortcode parameter(s). At the time of writing it was around 30 minutes before opening time.

    Are you using a caching plugin or is your host caching pages on the server?

    Thanks for the swift response.
    No the website does not (yet) have any caching from any source as it is still in development. Thus also no asset-optimization or compressing/minification of any scripts or files which could block functionality.

    It’s hard to debug this without link or extra info. Can you send a screenshot of the opening hour settings?

    I provided them as screenshot in the edit of my initial post. Both the settings and the shortcode. For shortcode I initially did not add the openingsoonmessage parameter, but when it did not work I tried it with the parameter instead.

    The <div> is solely for CSS (text-styling and use of psuedo’s). Perhaps targeting is not working due to it now being a child of <div>? Then again, that could be the case with any HTML added.

    @maartenbelmans apologies:

    On sidenote I just noticed that the title for the popup all show “Edit holidays…”
    No holiday is set until christmas nor are any vacations added
