Opening site from with google search using keywords

  • When I perform a google search using my keywords, I get the following error message:

    Well this is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

    It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.

    This message shows up on my theme with my site title. I can click on the site title and get to my home page. Any advice on how to correct this?

    I can’t see anything wrong with your site. In fact, it’s a rather nice site. ??

    My guess is that Google still hasn’t updated it’s cache yet and is still showing the original front page from when you installed WP. That does sound like the message that the default Twenty Eleven theme displays for an empty front (main posts) page. It will resolve itself with time but if you want to help it along, ensure that you are using a Google XML sitemap generator plugin and create a Google Web master account so that you can submit the XMl sitemap directly. It’s the fastest way to get Google to re-index your site.
