• Hi, i’m using wp_super_cache for a long time, but I just noticed that just opening post-new.php empties all cache !

Then, saving at draft too, and publishing too. The website was on version 1.1 of wp_super_cache, I update to 1.2 version, same problem.

I tried with and without option “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated”, same problem.

The problem is that we write between 10 to 30 posts each day, and it empties all the cache when a lot of people are on the website, so it’s very very slow for us and of course for visitors.

So wp_super_cache is useless in peak time when writing posts, because deleting many times cache in some minuts. And the cache become efficient only after a few minuts…

Writing and publishing a post empties 3 times all cache : one time just opening post-new.php, second time auto saving draft after writing title, third time when publishing or planifying post.

I tried debug mode, but the log file is erased too when cache is deleted ! So impossible to understand and solve it.

    I’m using rewrite cache mode.

And the website can have 100 000 visits in one day.

    Thanks !

Thanks for answer, so it’s a bug.

I was surprised that I got same problem on version 1.2

It’s really non sense to empty all cache each time opening post-new.php, publishing post or planify it.

Hope there is solution, because without that bug, wp_super_cache is perfect !
