• This should be simple but it’s not working.

    In my menu options there is a checkbox that says “open link in new tab” but though it is checked the link will open in the same window.

    There is only one link in the menu as you can see here https://chrisfawkes.com/blog/

    Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

    On a side note, I thought wordpress made all themes responsive now. I loaded an older theme which I prefer but it was not responsive at all. Is there something else that needs to be done to activate that?

    Browsers don’t always respect requests to open in a new tab. Could you try this link in other browsers to explore this?

    Safari Chrome and Firefox. Does not work in any of them unfortunately.

    Oh this looks like a JavaScript issue. Which theme are you using?

    It’s a one page theme from themeforest. Newave.

    I’ll shoot them an email and see if I can have them solve it.
