Opening advert in _self

    I am trying to make an advert open in the same browser window but cannot see how I do this. I find it strange… if it is the case of course… that it is not one of the default settings.

    Whilst most adverts I want to open in a new window as it would go to the advertisers website, in this particular case it is a block advert encouraging potential advertisers to download our Media Kit and so I need it to stay on our site.

    Pretty basic stuff really so hopefully it is just that my eyes are failing me and I can’t see where I set this.

    Hi Fozz66,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    You can configure globally in Advanced Ads > Settings > General to open all programmatically created links, e.g., image ads, in a new or in the same window.

    When the Tracking add-on is enabled, you can find an option in each ad unit to change this setting for individual ad units.

    Alternatively, you could use the “plain text and code” ad type and use a code that doesn’t open in a new window.
