Opening a form submission after clicking a button

Simplest way to achieve this would be to use a popup. I think Elementor provides a popup module so you could put such popup on the page and put form shortcode inside it.

In case the form wasn’t working correctly for you with Elementor’s native popup, you can alternatively use our own free Hustle plugin which is made to play well with Forminator.

The same principle can be used here: put a button on the page, create popup or slide-in with Hustle and put form shortcode in it, then set that popup/slide-in to open upon button click.

Thanks! that worked.

Now when the popup is opened (after clicking the button) it takes a really long time for the form to become visible, around 7-10 seconds.

Is there something I can do about it?

Can you verify if you are using the Ajax rendering?

If so, can you try to disable it?

The time that form will load on the frontend also depends on the number of fields and the website itself, I suggest taking a look at your hosting values and increasing the Memory Limit if necessary https://wpmudev.com/blog/increase-memory-limit/
