OpenGraph and Time.ly events.

    Unsure if this is a feature of Time.ly already or not but I did an OpenGraph scan of a Time.ly event and discovered an issue.

    The scan reports the og:type for the URL as “article” rather than an “event” (https://schema.org/Event).

    Does the plugin add/modify OpenGraph metatags at all? Or is that dependant on the theme’s coding?

    Hi,

    Although the “Event” is supported on schema.org, Facebook and others actually don’t fully support it. So we use “Article”. Once fully supported, we will change it to “Event”.
