Open YouTube Video with Lyte in a Lightbox

  • Hello Mr. Goossens,

    I don’t want to have the yt video directly in my website layout. So I decided to link the videos and open them in a lightbox.
    Easy FancyBox is my choice and there I can select YouTube and it works.

    But then I want to use your plugin too, because it’s really cool.

    If I change my yt links to httpv:, the lightbox does not work anymore. there is a preview pic and my link does not open the lightbox, it reloads the website.

    Is there a chance to get it work together?

    If the YouTube video’s are mere links (so not embedded) and only open in a lightbox when clicked upon, then LYTE has no added value; the links don’t slow the page down and when clicked upon you would expect the video to autoplay which LYTE does not support?
