Open Street map or another geolocation provider

    we are currently in an early stage of another relaunch of our website. During some discussions of where we want to go, and what can be improved we are thinking about of parting ways with google maps and switching to open street map or another geolocation provide. First off all because of montlhy charges and second because of cookie compilence
    I know that the Search&Filtering plugin provided by Myles can handle openstreetmap but still requires a google API key for geolocation.
    But as far as I know, the WPJM plugin just allows using maps and no other geolocation provider. There are two, sadly nearly 5 and 3 years old, threads on github but I do not see any changes during the last years.

    Any news on adding a second geolocation provider?

    Hi there,

    Currently, we only officially support Geocoding from Google’s Maps API.
