    Hi Bastien

A couple of issues and a feature request.

    1. OSM opens in a new window/tab if you click on the map icon/symbol.

I’ve not used a location in the event past recently so don’t remember noticing whether this was an issue before. It doesn’t show the marker and is anyway an unexpected behaviour, and not that helpful if this is by design.

    2. The Simple date picker is broken, but switching to the wordpress date picker in settings fixes it. I think this didn’t work reliably in the classic editor either.

    Maybe remove the simple one?

    3. Is there a way to set a default category for events when an EP event is created?

I would find this small addition helpful more so than a lot of the other features, which could be confusing to a lot of users.

    Many thanks

    Hi

The map link ussie has been fixed in the last release (v5.7), thank you for the feed back.

For the second point, it may be an issue in Gutenberg, in fact, we should assume only one datepicker and remove the choice.

THere is no “DefaultCategory” feature in our roadmap. Categories are more integrated, as you can set a color by category. I presume you’d want to put all dated posts in an “Events” category?

I had noticed that the map link worked correctly just the other day, so thank you.

Yes. Having a default category would help anyone using WordPress basic automation tools (to filter events for example in a menu). Most of my users simply forget to add a category at all …

    Thank you once again
