Open Social – General Installation Issues using WP

  • I read the forums and plugin site and looks like the plugin I need but need some overall advice on application for my website. I am creating website not yet public with menus and content in Chinese targeting Chinese tourists to USA. I will have a new phone solely devoted to my business and will soon install WeChat and QQ with company information. My website will need WeChat and QQ icons to point to these accounts. After I setup phone WeChat (service account) and QQ, I will use it to market my website and services. (I have been using WeChat[subscription account] and QQ on my other personal phone). Where is best installation information, security issues, and videos (English or Mandarin OK.) I am using WP and DiVi Theme. Is another plugin better for my requirements? 多谢 蔣導

    you mean where to get the appid and appkey infomation ?!
    i’m confused because my plugin is about login, not phone.

    Sorry, perhaps I should have installed the plugin first and then see if I had any problems/questions. I want to show WeChat and QQ icons on my website “Contact Me” page and maybe other pages also. Would there be a QR code for people to scan and then I receive their message on my phone WeChat? Then I should have the option of accepting it or not. Probably works like the subscription account I have on my personal phone. Thank you again. JD
