Open post in fancybox: The requested content cannot be loaded.

    After upgrading to wp 5.0.2 and FancyboxForWP 3.1.6 my links opening posts in fancybox do open the fancybox, but with the message “The requested content cannot be loaded. Try again later.”
    I have tried to load some other external webpage, receiving the same error. Disabled other plugins don’t have any effect. Resetting plugin to default settings: no effect. Then what is the problem?
    The links in question are the “vcard”-links.
