• Anybody know how to have all pages but a static home page open so that the content, and not the header, is the first thing you see, even when using the nav menu/permalinks?

  • I think I have an idea of what you’re asking, but I am not sure. If I am correct, when you go to a certain pages you would like the header image to not display only content?

If this is the case, what I did was got rid of the header image from the appearance panel all together. Then in the customization section there is an option that says “Singular Header”, I put the option to “Featured Image”. From there I uploaded what I would have uploaded as a header image into the featured image section on the edit page screen where you post from. For each page that I wanted a header, I added a featured image and for any page that I did not want to have a header I left the feature image section blank so all you see is content.

I hope that helps, I don’t know if it was the answer you were looking for.

@themediaship I guess what I had in mind was having non-homepages scroll down to an anchor below the header image when opened. I’ve been having problems in general using anchors, as the scrolling is often unpredictable and changes depending on the browser. Any ideas?

take a look at my site and let me know if this is what you are talking about.

Instead of adding another menu in the header, I created a smaller menue that sits above all the content on my page with hyperlinks to other portions of my website. It gives quicker access to other pages, doesn’t take up the header space, and with the a:hover tag activated setup up from the themes author, when you hover over the link it turns green letting people know you can click it.

    my site is:

If this is what you are talking about than I can definitely help you.

I am not currently using this theme as of the moment, I am running a business website so I went with something that let me do more with the menus and header image. Still an awesome layout though.
