open menu links in iframe

  • I have an iframe on my WP page and want to open links I created on my sidebar menu inside that iframe (on the same page). I tried adding the attribute target=”iframe_name” to the menu link but WP deletes the link because of the quotes. If I remove the quotes it removes the space between the link and target like this https://www.mysite.comtarget=iframe_name and then opens my link (www.mysite.com) in the main frame instead of inside my iframe_name target.

    I tried several different embed-iframe plugins but none seem to do what I need to do here.

    What am I doing wrong?
