Open link in a new tab

Hey huynhdycity! There is actually a way to do this within the WordPress editor. If you click Screen Options (https://cl.ly/image/2B0y461L1f37) on the Menu Manage page and select Link Target (https://cl.ly/image/2t350e2O2D0M), you will now have the option of opening any menu item in a new tab (https://cl.ly/image/2W3v3s1t113T).

Go to Appearance > Menus, click the Screen Options tab in the upper right, and check the box next to Link Target.

Each of your menu items will now show a checkbox to open the link in a new tab/window. Check those boxes and resave your menu.

Hi Kim Parsell,

I follow your instructions for open the link in a new tab, but this method doesn’t work. I’m using wordpress 4.0
Is there another form to do that?
