Open Lazy-load images error

My Blog installation Autoptimize Plugin. Turn on “Lazy-load images” Function

If the image is “https://” there is no problem

I did a quick test on my own blog omitting the protocol but can’t reproduce the problem, the image does (lazy)load (see screenshot below), so it’s likely something else is (also) interfering. do you have a non-production site where you could leave things broken so I can take a look?
