Open Issue when Minimized

I can’t seem to duplicate this issue. So far the chat reopens in the latest Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Safari on iPhone.

Can you provide the following info:

Hi and sorry for the late reply – I didn’t get the notification the first time.
It does not work on my laptop’s Chrome on Windows.

Also, I don’t understand why but when I tick the “Minimize” box in the settings the chat window keeps popping up anyway. Does that one work fine on your end, too?

Dang! I Still can’t duplicate it on Windows with Chrome.

Try disabling your Chrome extensions especially anything that blocks ads.

if that doesn’t work try joining the Official Messenger Facebook group. They have a ton of people there who can help with the most difficult issues.

It looks like there might be something wrong with the minimize option. I’ll get into the plugin this weekend and take a look at it.

One last thing, is there a way to change the wording in “Hi! How can we help you?” and “Chat”?

@vladi It’s not built in to the plugin yet, but you can set the welcome text through Facebook’s Messenger Profile API: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/reference/messenger-profile-api/greeting

Wondering if you had a chance to look into the “Is Minimized” issue? I have that box ticked but the website still loads with the chat not being minimized.
