I experimented using your plugin to place a few specific posts in the middle of this post. I looked for an option to open the links in a new tab but could not find it. Is there such a feature? If not, how likely is it that you may add it? Opening the links in the same tab will break the reading and viewing flow the way I used it. I can easily change to a text-only link and direct it to open in a new tab if this feature is not at least under consideration.

    Thank you,

That is good to Let’s see what the new features will be. Please also consider adding automatic settings for responsive behavior on smaller screens. Good luck!

    Hi @acekin,

    Hi @acekin,

Thanks for your support ticket and also for your great opinion. We already added Link open in a new tab feature in the latest version 2.1.0. Please install the latest version. I hope your issue is solved.

Note: I am sorry to say that we can’t add the automatic adjustable responsive feature. Our developer team says it is almost impossible to bring this feature. Because most of the user wants full freedom to manage responsive setting. So, technically it is very difficult to manage. I hope you will understand.

Note: I can see you gave a 4-start rating. We always expect a 5-start rating for our users. if you give us a 5-start rating then We will get more inspiration.

    Have a nice day.

Thank you for your quick response, as I said in my review this plugin is promising.

That said, adding the option to have the plugin to determine the responsive behavior should not eliminate the manual override options which are very good. Keep them and add “Auto Responsive” as an option. It is easy to change the rating after this is done and you add a categories block. Promise, I will do that. You may be wondering why I urge you to add auto responsive. Every time I insert a block, I shouldn’t have to remember to set its responsive behavior. At least allow the user the set something as a global option on that site.

As to adding a block of all or selected categories, there is no easy and pleasing way of doing that in most posts, especially with no sidebar.

I am even experimenting putting some grids inside an accordion block from another plugin. Hint, hint, … Take a look at the following page, towards the end:

    https://www.testbed.biz/block-test/

I will be watching your developments and may feed some more ideas. The more I get used to it to more likely it is that I will buy a copy.

    Good work, thank you,

    Hi @acekin,

I hope you are well. We already have a plan to add category blocks. Please see the screenshot https://prnt.sc/v8ihxj. If you visit the roadmap page then you can see our upcoming feature list also. Here is the roadmap page link https://www.wpxpo.com/gutenberg-post-blocks/roadmap/. We are very serious about features and also we always respect users opinion. I hope you already know about this. We have added link open in new tab option only for your request. Although this is was not listed our roadmap page.

Category Blocks Update: Our team already started RND for Category Blocks. Hope soon they will start development.

Note: I have talked to our lead developer about “Auto Responsive” feature. He says, It is very difficult to develop Auto Responsive system. Till now no one could add this feature like (Elementor, Divi Builder, etc). Even WordPress itself has no this feature. If anyone want to bring this feature first they need to develop AI system to manage “Auto Responsive” feature. For this need a huge investment.
You know we are small company and we will not get huge investment for this development. Hope you will understand.

    Have a nice day.

All very good to hear, promising, as I said. I can see how hard you are trying to satisfy the customer and that goes a long way. I do appreciate your quickly adding the “open in new tab” feature. That was very thoughtful of you.

You all have a nice day too.
