Hi! This works for text links, but for images and buttons, I need to transform the element to html first.

Yes, you’re right. For image and button blocks have to be converted into HTML blocks and add the target="_blank" to the a tag now.

The request to add the “Open link in a new tab” option to the image block was raised on Github and I can see that it’s in the progress of developing.

I’m not sure if there’s any feature request for button blocks on that, but you could raise your new request here.
