Open Image In A New Window

I actually came across this plugin, but it opens in a new small window (like a pop-up) which could be offensive to some people.
Perhaps I should have made it clearer in my first post. What I need is for the link to open in a new tab (and for browsers that don’t support tab, a new window).

Have just downloaded and attempted to instal this and I got the following message when I activate it:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/ribs4u/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ald-openimagewindow/quicktag.inc.php on line 5

All i did was removed line five – it was a commented line s wasn’t actually needed – and it worked.

Yuo can set as image to open in new window via below metnioned steps:

1) Insert image in write post from add media section.
2) Select inserted Image from post area.
3) Click on insert/edit link [altr + shift + A].
4) Enter Image URL and select the option upon requirement for open the image like open image in new window, open image in same window.
5) Apply and save changes.
