Open graph tags

  • Hi,

    How do i modify the open graph meta tags on my webpages? I am told i have to access the HTML of my webpages. This is so that when sharing using the SM media buttons, featured images can show on the shared post.

    Hi there, I’ve looked at the Sumo Me plugin instructions, and also at their website, and I see no clue as to how to deal with WordPress posts and pages as both are dynamically generated on-the-fly.

    At the very least, it would require creating of a Child Theme and then copying over some of the WordPress template files (probably header.php) and then adding the og meta tags. WordPress pages and posts are dynamically created from data in a database, so you can’t add the og tags to those pages and posts, it would have to be added to the header.php section.
