Open Graph Properties for Facebook Sharing Mismatch

    Cheers fellas,

    Been working on my site for a while now and I’m on the forefront of finally sharing it to the world and on social media! Only problem is that when I tested it to see how it would like when I share it on Facebook, the Open Graph properties do not seem to be rendering correctly.

    I installed the WPSSO plugin so I can customize the site description and default image but those do not show up. Also, upon further research on my own, I tested the site out via the Facebook debugger tool (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/) and it shows the incorrect data plus a spam looking description.

    Any guesses on how I can fix this to customize a default image and description when sharing?

    Right now, the description of my site seems to be tied to my latest blog post. Ideally, I would have a custom, default description since my site is photo portfolio/blog and constantly updating
