    Our Open Graph implementation is very basic and works only for straightforward situations. If you have something more complicated disable our Open Graph tags and use some special plugin for that.

    You could use the_post_thumbnail for og:image. I think it is very basic.

    That’s almost exactly what we are using.

    the_post_thumbnail could be used only in the loop. We use get_the_post_thumbnail.

    It is so strange. I use get_the_post_thumbnail in my template and it works fine…
