Open Graph Description Not Working

  • Hi,

    I’ve been trying to correct the issue with Facebook. Almost everything works fine: image, title, site url, post url. However, the description doesn’t show what I want FB to show when my post is shared. It shows the first sentences of the introduction.

    How can I fix this?

    P.S. In FB’s debugger tool, the raw tags show two sets of open graph meta tags, and the description tags show one with the description that I want to show, but the other shows the introduction.

    If you’re seeing two tags in the source code, could it be another plugin is generating that second description tag? We only generate the tags you specifically define, we don’t automatically generate tags at this time.
